About this listen

The world is dead

Two months ago, billions of people were killed by a deadly germ. Days later, they rose again in massive numbers. Since then, cities worldwide have become corpse-filled, rat-infested, germ-choked hellholes.

A group of people are trapped in central London, hopelessly outnumbered by the dead.

They hear rumors of a safe haven in the north—a self-sufficient community where people from across the country have gathered to try and rebuild their lives. But the decaying ruins of the capital are vast and sprawling, and they’re going to need an army to get away from this place.

There are other people here, waiting in the shadows to be found. Can enough of them band together to make a difference, or has the country—maybe even the entire world—already been lost to the dead?

This special edition contains all three novels in the series (Autumn: Dawn, Autumn: Inferno, and Autumn: Exodus) along with seven brand new short stories.

it is okay, but it is dull and by 1/2 though you have had enough.
it just never gets going, however much you wait.

it starts off ok, but by 1/2 though you have had enough.

loved the narration, kept me gripped. characters relatable, very good storyline and sub stories. Post apocalyptic from the UK are always more realistic!

I absolutely enjoyed every single word of these books! and the extra stories at the end were a lovely bonus too. all the characters were superbly written, believable people, villains I loved to hate and storylines that were just excellent. I especially enjoyed the narration, this is my second zombie series narrated by Aubrey parsons, fab he is, with all the accents, even the women spot on. brilliant fun

amazing fun

The characters are believable and well written, the story weaves around them and you actually enjoy hearing them. The narration with the different voices and accents is also excellent. One of the best zombie novels I've heard.

Excellent story and narration

The story was a lot better than a lot of post apocalyptic books out. There is a definite start and end and the characters were likable. I think the book had some pacing issues. Sometimes the storytelling felt a little uneven and I would have liked to have a bit more solid zombie lore in order to make the world building a little more vibrant.

An interesting read with some pacing issues
