This is a wonderful Christian allegory, rich with depth and meaning. It shows the deplorable condition of our souls before believing in Christ, and what Christ’s death and resurrection did for us by giving us salvation. It details our continuing challenging journey with Christ towards Heaven. There’s wonderful reminders of the sins, trials and struggles that beset us, and the wrong choices that we make along the way. From materialism, distraction, pride, unbelief and fear, and more. Each one vividly demonstrated in allegorical fashion. It was easy to listen to the audiobook, well narrated. Thoroughly enjoyable!
