Call Me by Your Name first swept across the world in 2007. It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. During the restless summer weeks, unrelenting but buried currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion as they test the charged ground between them and verge toward the one thing both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. André Aciman's critically acclaimed debut novel is a frank, unsentimental, heartrending elegy to human passion.

A beautifully haunting and bittersweet love story that makes you ache and wish you could experience a love like it.

The narration by Armie is perfect. His smooth voice takes the story to a deeper level and makes you feel like it is playing out around you.

The movie should definitely be watched as well!

I watched the film first, so it was very confusing hearing Armie Hammer’s voice narrating from Elio. Also, I found it a bit monotonous.

Beautifully written and took me back to my homeland. the way the relationship was handled was just beautiful and tragic all in the same breath. I could write an essay on it but I'll just say I feel changed and humbled.

If you didn't cry you're a fucking liar xoxox
