About this listen
As the United States gets ready to celebrate its 250th birthday, a unique exhibit is giving people a chance to come face-to-face with the documents that helped define the nation. “The Story of US” at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library & Museum brings together rare artifacts from the National Archives—many of which have rarely left Washington, D.C.—to tell the story of America’s ideals, conflicts, and turning points over nearly two and a half centuries. Mark Adams is the Director of the Truman Library and joins Show Me Today to explain more about the exhibit.
