In light of this week's 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we interview Catholic scholar and historian Charles Coulombe. While he is a proud American patriot, he also argues that many elements of the American Founding were incompatible with Catholic teaching (including the justification for the Revolution itself). We consider some of these issues on this auspicious anniversary.
As much as we got into in this interview, there are many more issues yet to explore on this topic. Stay tuned for future interviews.
