How did we actually get the Bible? I'm answering that question head on today, and the real story is so much more powerful than the conspiracy theories give it credit for. We're talking about why Ecclesiastes made the cut and the Book of Enoch didn't, why the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Peter got left out (you have to hear what's actually in those, it's wild), and what the church's real role was in recognizing Scripture versus creating it.
