Fireworks are already flying, Missouri is apparently competing for the national championship of "Things You Shouldn't Light With Your Hand," and somehow that's only the beginning.

The crew kicks things off trying to figure out whether it's Wednesday, Thursday, or simply the longest week in human history before diving headfirst into Fourth of July survival tips that probably won't save anybody's fingers. Backyard fireworks, neighborhood explosions, and some horrifying statistics make everyone question whether buying fireworks by the shopping cart was ever a good national tradition.

Meanwhile, Moon relives the story of becoming "that weird guy in the neighborhood" after climbing a massive tree to rescue his son's drone and accidentally introducing himself to strangers as "Moon." Unsurprisingly, the neighbors were left convinced a celestial being had moved in next door.

Then things get even stranger.

Road rage, unbearable heat, geese holding up traffic, Gary Busey somehow becoming Gary Goosey, and an absolutely ridiculous debate over whether honking at geese is ever acceptable all collide into one giant conversation that somehow still makes perfect sense on this daily comedy show.

Just when everyone thinks the episode has peaked, along comes the legend of the mysterious Mexican Batman—a real-life vigilante allegedly duct-taping motorcycle thieves to light poles before leaving police to clean up the mess. The crew immediately begins casting Alfred, Robin, and debating exactly how Batman's alter ego translates into Spanish.

As if that wasn't enough, Dry July officially begins, prompting discussions about drinking culture, whether wine has ever actually been healthy, bizarre proposals limiting alcohol sales, and the eternal struggle of surviving social events while staying sober. It's heartfelt, ridiculous, and exactly what you'd expect from people who can somehow turn alcohol policy into comedy.

The weird headlines keep coming.

Ancient pinball laws finally disappear, bizarre yearbook pranks make national news, forgotten movie trivia takes over the studio, and somehow the gang finds itself laughing through one completely unbelievable story after another. The result is exactly what longtime listeners expect: organized chaos disguised as a radio show.

If you love weird news, sarcastic humor, pop culture commentary, ridiculous debates, and a daily comedy show that somehow finds comedy hiding inside every headline, you're in the right place. Whether you're listening during your commute, pretending to work, or recovering from your own backyard fireworks adventure, we've got you covered.
