A 16-year-old boy fell up to eight metres while climbing rocks at Queenscliff on the Northern Beaches, suffering a head injury and cuts. The ambulance helicopter was called to winch the teenager from the remote location. He was transported to hospital in a stable condition, with NSW Ambulance encouraging people in remote areas to use the Emergency Plus app to provide rescuers with exact locations for faster response times.
