New South Wales has recorded its first case of H5 bird flu, with CSIRO confirming a positive test from a bird found at Hawksnest on the state's north coast. This marks the sixth confirmed case of the deadly virus in Australia. Another sick bird discovered at South Narrabeen on Sydney's northern beaches is currently being tested for the virus, which has killed millions of birds and mammals worldwide.
