Summary

This audiobook is designed to get your children to sleep at bedtime. Baby Edward has his friends and cousins round for a sleepover, and they all try lots of different ways of getting to sleep. The third of the series, this story includes soothing music.

All Baby Edward stories use a number of established techniques such as repeated melodic phrases (read in hushed, gentle tones), characters that yawn (studies have shown this to be contagious especially with children), and the occasional sound that is similar to "white noise" (like a waterfall or radio interference), which is widely used as a sleep aid for babies and likened to sounds experienced in the womb. The tricks the characters try to get themselves to sleep form the theme of the story and induce the same sleepiness in the listener. Always start at the beginning of the story, and if all goes to plan, you won't reach the end.
