The characters felt real and identifiable, I wanted to know and understand their lives, and what had brought them to the present. A deeply satisfying story, impeccably read, there was humour and sadness, and above all the love and support of good friends. The slow burn created just the right amount of tension and suspense . Highly recommended.

I loved this book …..Each characters experiences were believable and so sad yet with so much hope at the end … similar things have happened to so many families … tragic! I thought the writer captured everyone’s point of view in a touching way and showed that life goes on through the most awful times with survivors overcoming terrible things … well done Cary … I really enjoyed this book.
