Summary

I am Garren Holt: Dead Trucker. Reborn Brawler. Donkey Sidekick. Harem Magnet.

Real heroes never die. They just get sent somewhere else. One minute I'm hauling 600 HP of diesel fury. The next, a bear the size of a semi punches my isekai ticket and portals me into a medieval forest. Stats flood my vision. A smart-mouthed donkey bonds to my soul and won't shut up about 'delivering freedom' with his kicks.

Thugs swarm our wagon and try to rob us. Fists fly and innards are getting rearranged.

And that's just the first day.

In this new world, trouble tends to find me fast. Lucky for me, so do the ladies. A sultry assassin drags me through back-alley bloodbaths before I can even buy her a proper drink. An ice witch with a killer personality commandeers my hauling skills for her glacial schemes. The blacksmith daughter and tavern maid? Eager, handsy, and willing.

Haul freight. Hack horrors. Hook hotties. Food divine, politics poison, adventures nonstop. In a world where every contract comes with a blade or a kiss, my new life is one wild, harem-fueled ride. Buckle up. The donkey kicks harder than the bear ever did.

I was initially a little unsure about the premise for this book, but the author makes it work with an entertaining cast of characters that the narrators help to bring to life very well too.

The story could have probably been a bit stronger in its own right, but does serve as a good foundation for the subsequent series.

Overall, this was an enjoyable listen and I definitely think that I will keep going with book 2.
