Stealing from a mage was both the best and worst thing I had ever done.

A different story but the MC defo has traits from certain characters from certain games I wont mention to avoid spoilers. you'll see. but its a genuinely good series. not 1 part story to 10 parts sex like some I've read. its actually got a decent story for the most part, if a bit cheese and cliché at times. i recommend it if you want a series that takes itself less seriously after reading a series that leaves you wondering "what now? :/ "
I don't feel any guilt for saying it's a bit cheesy how every woman who so much as looks at the MC suddenly falls for him. feels like a bunch of women fluffing the ego of the MC, and by extension, the writer.
Maybe slow the romance a bit mate. have a build up so theres ACTUAL romance, rather than "she looked at me, I got hard, she got turned on, we banged, and now she'll die for me and my 20 foot long dragon." which feels creepy and cheesy and kills any real sense of character or relatability.
A build up of bonds feels more natural than feeling like the MC subconsiously mindcontrols them. he basically collects women as soon as seeing them. if a woman was that needy for me as soon as looking at me, I'd be running tbh.
slight spoiler but not really. I'll just say the ending of book 3 made book 4s opening loose some real impact. but its not a big deal tbh. I'll leave it at that. again. fun series. dont take it seriously. Enjoy it for what it is.
