About this listen

While everyone watches the stars, looking to the future, something is looming below us.

After a rough break up, Wyatt moves to New York City, eager to prove himself while working on Wall Street. When he’s asked to visit the father of his ex-girlfriend, a billionaire tycoon, his fate is sealed.

The revolutionary company, Nu-En, launches a radical innovation, an energy that will allow every person on the planet access to power. Only it doesn’t perform as anticipated.

Harnessing the ocean has consequences, and highly dangerous creatures emerge from the depths. Soon, the Earth is fracturing, and the world will never be the same.

Wyatt teams with Luna, a clever journalist, to escape the treacherous city with the ultimate prize: a robot capable of saving the world.

Their journey won’t be easy, but they meet others along the way who share the same determination.

Time is running out, and nothing can prepare them for what’s coming....

Below Us is the first novel in the epic series The Abyss, written by Nathan Hystad, the best-selling author of The Other Place, First Life, and The Event.

This book was worth getting. I'm waiting on the sequel now. Why are you books not longer than 10 hours?

WOW, This one was
impossible to put down !

This is my twelve book that was written by the author Nathan Hystad and amazingly each of them never fails, it’s not normal but somehow he does it with his amazing imagination.
In short a supposably free energy experiment fails and mutations start showing infecting others getting them to mutate, the question is if it was planned or an accident was finally revealed but many unanswered questions remained.
Waiting for the second book Before Us, of this trilogy “ The Abyss “ will not be so easy, it will be pure Hellish.

Marc Vietor excellently narrated this creation for each of the characters in this book.

Absolutely
and without a doubt
got my recommendations !

Oded Ostfeld.

Accident or planned ?

The first book of what will hopefully be a brilliant series.

I love the premise of this apocalyptic story, and really looking forward to where it’s going in the rest of the series. I quickly warmed to the main characters and for me, that’s the most important point of any story.

Press play, trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

A great start

It's like a horror as there are monsters and mutants.... but it isn't!!

The world is falling apart, literally. Sea monsters, land monsters, mutants, a global pandemic.

BELOW US is often used ominously a good few times. What is it though?

Sci-Fi yes most definitely, robots advanced tech. it's all here. Nice one Nathan onto the next installment when it's out. Brilliant stuff.

Great Story.

A good start to an excellent new series. sci-fi, creature feature and apocalypse in one book. plenty of action, good characters, well plotted. Roll on book two. Narration is good and clear with an easy tone. Thank you Nathan Hystad for a review copy
