Alien queen Kora has a problem as vast as the endless crimson deserts. I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this audiobook. Having watched Ava Jays videos on you tube I was curious how well her story was written and what it was about.

Without reading the synopsis or any reviews I picked it up and was drawn in to a well presented and thought out fantasy world and was hooked on every word.

The story contains a great blend of fantasy, romance and conflict. While it was pretty predictable in terms of what was going to happen the journey was truly one of the best stories I have heard this year if not ever.

I am now waiting eagerly for the next book in the series and for an announcement of a movie deal to rival The Hunger Games and Maze Runner.
