©2025 Raging Hippo LLC (P)2025 Raging Hippo LLCWe start off with a great scene including Vareck, Meera, Corvo and Meera's entire family minus Sadie, who's still missing. It was brilliant and so funny, we definitely need more of her family.
This book is basically a journey book with Vareck and Meera setting off to find Sadie (and of course Damon). The four of these characters together with Corvo popping in and out was brilliant. The dynamics were interesting and we got more depth from our characters.
Then I decided I don't like Kel & Aurelia anymore 😂😂😂 Of course I'm joking/1% not LOL as I realised what was going to happen and then I would be faced with a cliff-hanger and wait (I have to wait longer than most as I need the audio too 😭).
I don't do spoilers in my reviews (so my review for book one is more detailed) but this series is such a fun one, with great characters who all have their own strengths and weaknesses, some spice and an enjoyable plot.
The audio book is duet narration by Scott Rose and Savannah Gilmore who do a great job with this cast of characters!
Highly recommend!!!!!
