Summary

The inner voice of the divine speaks to us all. One of its oldest and most authentic transmissions is the Bhagavad Gita spoken by Krishna 5000 years ago.

The Gita is a living voice of love and wisdom that belongs to the whole world. In the heart of the listener who is open to hear, this voice takes birth anew. During the 18 years since this version first appeared, our world has entered deepening crisis and confusion. In these times, we can feel the warrior’s opening words spoken to Krishna: "I am confused and overwhelmed—tell me what is best for me."

Each one of us has the capacity to look within and hear the inner voice, to meet the divine friend, who lives inside and never leaves. These difficult times are here to bring us to this place, where we can experience the light of wisdom and the embrace of love we all long for. Armed with this inner strength and vision, we will discover how we are to act in today’s troubled world. The words of Krishna preserved in the Bhagavad Gita guide us to this sacred encounter.

Listen to these ancient words read meditatively by the author Ranchor Prime. In today’s times of crisis, here is a living voice of wisdom that cuts through the confusion and calls us to the inner truth and love we always long for.

In Talks Between the Soul and God, the voice of Krishna comes along with Ranchor Prime’s simple and clear reflections, based on his lifetime of discipleship.

This is a beautiful recitation and explanation of the Bhagavad Gita, from someone who has studied, lived and taught the words of the Supreme Lord.

Initially I found the pace of the reading a little slow but after a few chapters realised this gave me more time to reflect and take in the words and explanations.

I will definitely keep this on my favourite and returning to listen list.

Beautiful explanation of the Bhagavad Gita
