I love the Ravenhood and Ravenhood Legacy books so this was probably one of my most anticipated reads this year, going in to Severed Heart I didn't expect it would end up as my favourite book from both series which is why I was so excited for this book, but I was also apprehensive as how do you follow that and in a way that feels right? Severed Heart did just that to mine, so I desperately wanted Tyler to get an HEA but I struggled to imagine how the story and he could move on in a way that would compare, and this is how, although it takes a lot to get to get to that HEA. As usual with these books it ripped my heart out, I cried ... alot, and there is something about Kate Stewart's writing that just leaves me feeling emotionally raw, but as a gluten for punishment I've just finished it and I'm going to go right back to the start and put myself through it all again, then go back to the beginning and start with Flock again just to totally emotinally devastate myself. On audiobook this was also great to listen to with a full cast of narrators and some very good ones in the mix.

And on release day I dived right into to the audio.

Multi cast Narrating i highly Recommend doing the Audio ♾️🎧

Reading this and doing the audiobook is two completely different experiences.

BOAF is like no other i this series.

Chloe Ryan bringing Larissas character to life is a gut reaching beautiful hard hitting experience i connect with ther instantly. But on my first read of the book I couldn't till half way.

Grayson Owens another epic performance as Tyler.
It was a love hate with Tyler in this book.
One minute i was dammmm Tyler the next i wanted to slap him.

He met his match with Larissa.

I loved having more of Sean, Denny, Russell & Peter

As a longtime Ravenhood fan, listening to Birds of a Feather felt like coming home.

After Severed Heart, I couldn’t wait to continue Tyler’s journey, and this book exceeded every expectation I had. I loved getting to spend more time with these characters and watching Tyler’s story continue to unfold. Tyler and Larissa’s relationship felt authentic, emotional, and incredibly well developed, and I found myself completely invested in their story. The character development, the emotion, the relationships, and the healing throughout this book were handled so well.

What I’ve always loved most about the Ravenhood and Ravenhood Legacy series is that they’re about so much more than romance. They’re about family, loyalty, sacrifice, grief, healing, and the people who leave permanent marks on our lives. Kate Stewart captured all of that perfectly once again.

The audiobook was phenomenal. The full-cast narration made the experience even more immersive, and every narrator brought so much emotion and authenticity to their performance. The cast captured every emotional moment perfectly and made the characters feel even more real. Every voice felt perfectly matched to the character, and together they elevated an already incredible story.

This was a beautiful continuation of Tyler’s story and a wonderful addition to the Ravenhood Legacy series. One of my favourite audiobook experiences to date, and one I’ll absolutely be revisiting. 🐦‍⬛🖤
