The last part of this amazing trilogy is just as wonderful as the two previous books. Jan Guillau is such a great storyteller. The characters have different personalities and develope through the story, and the plot is believable and exciting. I hope the follow-up novel about Birger Jarl will be reocorded soon as well.

I wish this book were twice as long. I’ve now read, then listened to the trilogy, and adore Guillou’s world. Easily as good as the first two books.

This trilogy is absolutely amazing. the research into that time of the first century is astounding. so much history about the lives and times of the Templar knights that is long forgotten. highly recommended. nattation is excellent. do listen to all 3 books. you won't want to put them down.
