This story has it all, after her Grandmother does Emberlyn found her inheritance was inside the house so she had to try and enter. As she was left to 'Ripper' in her Grandmother's will along with the land his ancestors used to own. As they formed an alliance as the witches coven are after both. With lots of funny, sad, and anger along the way, with Cat Doucette narration plenty of loughter.

I have purchased all of the "Dark in You" series but was feeling that Ms Wright 's writing was getting a bit samey.
Not this book. The lead character Emberlyn, takes no prisoners and reacts calmly and intelligently to situations. The romance with Ripper does not keep you hanging and the plot has a few twists and turns and kept me interested.
Ms Doucettes voice was easy to listen to, and narrated the story beautifully.
Will happily purchase the next book / audio in the series.

Loved the story, characters. My only issue is that dual POV book should have two narrators. I’m not saying duet as dual would be ok but around chapter 13 the characters bleed into each other and I got confused whose chapter it was and what character was talking. This has nothing to do with the narrator she did a fantastic job. This book just needed two narrators.

Hope there’s more from this world.
