Critic reviews

"Marvelous....These stories are a joy for [Murakami's] readers....Their beauty lies in their ephemeral and incantatory qualities and in his uncanny ability to tap into a sort of collective unconscious." ( Publishers Weekly)

They don’t even make sense to me but i don’t mind, the way they’re written are great !

I love murakamis Short stories

Some stories with elements used in later works. These feel like draft pieces waiting to be knitted into longer tales and then polished, which has happened with one or two already. Not a great reflection of Murakami's skill, but more an interesting suite of building blocks needing cement, plaster and paint to finish them off.

A work in progress?

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I only listened to 5 mins and was already bored. I suspect it will be popular amongst many who enjoy this genre but not my cup of tea

Not very interesting
