After returning to 1979, when he changed history and prevented the murder of his wife, Frank Stone thought he was done with time travel.

He thought wrong.

A British time travel murder mystery – a witty whodunnit, back in the 1970s. Thirty-six years have elapsed since Frank saved his ex-wife. A murder which, because of the effects of time travel, never happened – or did it?

Now, in 2015 again, and after enjoying his new life, Frank faces an impossible dilemma. According to the clandestine organisation that sent him through time in the first place, the past must alter again to prevent future catastrophe – Frank’s son’s life depends on it.

However, Jayne, Frank’s second wife, unwittingly becomes embroiled in the Correction Years Association’s plans, and the ensuing catalogue of disasters has the potential to ruin their past.

Firstly....great narration as per usual from Perdita Lawton and Lee Beddow - their characters really bring the books to life.

Great continuation from Book 1 and I think there's still plenty to come in this series. I love how the author has a real knack for catching you up on the time lines by means of a single monologue, usually from one of the female protagonists.

Plenty More To Come In This Series

This was once again a thoroughly enjoyable listen. Very hard to put down and beautifully performed by Lee and Perdita.

The tale of the double-time-travelling-via-the-London Eye-Frank Stone was a little darker than the previous one but still made me laugh out loud at times. The characters were wonderfully developed - particularly that of Hartland aka The Hooded Claw. He seemed to have power beyond humanity and his evil flowed throughout the book.

My only tiny gripe was an observation that Jane Stone 'doesn't half go on'. There were times when I wanted to shout 'for goodness sake put a sock in it'. She certainly had a lot to say for herself.

A satisfying ending, with some loose ends gives me hope there will be a Book 3.

Just a couple of requests for maybe some things that may happen....

- we get a bit of an explanation as to how 'Alfie Boy' knew so much.

- Hartland gets taken down, his absolute leadership of the CYA where he has every employee's life in his hands has to come to some sort of an end - or change. He's a villain we all love to hate and yet admire for his power and abilities.

- Oh maybe some more links with Jason would be good!

Another Brilliant Story From Adrian Cousins

Having listened to the fist book in this series I was eager to listen to the second and I wasn’t disappointed. The story ties together so brilliantly the previous storyline and cleverly shows how complicated time travel could be or should that be can be? Frank Stone’s character is so well written you are left hoping things turn out for him as his life starts to unravel. Kept me guessing to the end and add the farting dog that can communicate to closed questions what more do you need. I loved it and I’m sure you will too. Lee Beddow and Perdita Lawton do another amazing job narrating, well done all and thank you Adrian Cousins for another great book.

Time travel at its best
