Blood Loss, (book 2 of Jeremy's Run) continues where L.A. Dark left off. The grid is down. The city has begun its rapid descent to chaos. Our five friends begin to execute their plan to escape the city. "Execute" is perhaps the operative word.

Jeremy, Kade, and Karina go to Kar's ex-boyfriend, Eddie, to trade for a decent weapon. Eddie won't trade, and Kade won't take no for an answer. In the meantime, Matt and Sarah, who venture out on their own, are abducted by an armed gang. When the others discover them missing, Kade sets off with Gooch to follow their trail, find them, and kill their captors.

full of action, surprises and shock. Characters still lack any depth for the reader to attach to but the action and twists stop you putting the book down. Great cliff hanger will not hesitate to grab book 3. Book 1 had been slow and a little dry with nothing of interest going on and had put me off but I went to book 2 just out 8f interest and feel it paid off. worth a read. narrator lacks emotion or character in his relentless mono tone which doesn't help matters.
