But I did enjoy this book and found the topic harrowing. The cards that we are dealt in life can lead us to all fail or succeed, it all depends of the will of a person. We all cling on to things to help us get through and navigate our trauma, some good and some not so as in the tale of this book.

In this audiobook you will find passion for music with hard topics like addiction and grief. Sarah feels very real, with moments that hurt and others that inspire. I really liked the narrator, although I would have liked a little more intensity in certain scenes. Still, it's a thought-provoking story...and one that makes you want to listen to some good blues.
