Summary

The world has changed. The buildings have fallen, blown away with the winds. The roads crumble as the forest takes back the land we stole a long time ago. For Emma that decision comes as Anna is stolen and taken to the breeder farms. Emma knows that she will pay anything to get Anna back, including her own life.

A good story, the male characters are a bit annoying but the whole thing was easy to listen to

I enjoyed the story most of the way through, although parts annoyed me. Someone who supposedly cared for the main character ignoring her when she spoke, pulling her around and generally behaving in a manner which most women would not and should not tolerate, misogyny at its finest!

This book is so well written, unusual storyline for a post apocalyptic story and the main character is intriguing. The fact she has a wolf as a companion definitely works in her favour!
Read really well by the narrator and I couldn't put it down, onto the rest of the series as soon as I finished.

I downloaded this from the Plus catalogue and absolutely loved it - I was gripped from the start. Great storyline and I really enjoyed the narration.

Couldn’t believe the whole series was freely available! Would definitely recommend.
