I absolutely loved this book. The storyline had me hooked, and the protagonist is just so well done—really layered and believable. The dark humour works perfectly, adding just the right amount of bite without overdoing it. And I have to say, the way the writer handles the sexual chemistry is spot on—it's natural, meaningful, and feels like an important part of the characters' connection, rather than just being thrown in for the sake of it.

The voices are great too, especially the lead, who has such subtlety and depth. It’s rare to read a book that’s part of a series but also stands completely on its own, and that, to me, shows real confidence and skill in the writing.
I've already purchased the second graphic audi book and I am really looking forward to it. 😉

Although I love the original audio with Nicole Poole, this dose being the experience alive, not any good if you want to anything else while listening. You do need to pay more attention, so it is a completely different experience with the back grand noises going on and each character with a unique voice can be distracting, but love this one as much as the other. Brilliant cast of voices very enjoyable.

This is the first dramatised audio book I have listened to, I tried The fourth wing sample but for some reason I found it distracting, maybe because the lady that narrated it originally did such an amazing job of bringing the action to life. I am so glad I tried again with the book though! The cast sounded great, the lead really does bring Raegan to life, and the background ambiance throughout doesn't over power the narration. I really enjoyed it, it had me laughing out loud a few times, and the romance aspect didn't overtake the story. I'm looking forwards to hearing more from this series!
