Her family is all that matters, too bad they may be the death of her....

This is an exciting, mysterious ghost story about Ibby's journey and the challenges she faces to become an endearing powerful heroine. The narration is brilliant with distinctive voices for each character.

Exciting

Another great book from A.L. Knorr, however the narrator was awful and made it very difficult to keep listening.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story, which explores Ibby’s origin story. Those who have read the other elementals books will have met her before, this book is set in England, where she is trying to gain experience as an archaeologist by working in the British Museum, but as always with these books there is a twist and things are not quite as straightforward as she would have wished.
I do really enjoy listening to the audiobooks, I found this one a little hard to get into to start with as the reader is quite slow and precise at the start of the book. It was nice to hear it being read in an accent native to the country it is set in. Looking forward to the next installment!

Great start to the next instalment of elementals!

Totally engrossing. Full of surprises. Loved the narrator, great characterisation and very easy to listen to. Can't wait for the sequel. Highly recommend.

Fantastic story and amazing narrator.

This is only the second audio book that I have every listened to. The main character is an archaeology student that accidentally stumbles upon a couple of odd metal rings. Little does she know this is the beginning of discovering her unique bloodline. Along the way we are introduced to a century old ghost, and a female that is beyond centuries old and is not what she seems. A lot of bad guys and an ancient entity trapped and desperate for escape from his prison, from a mysterious organisation after power. Combine this together and you have an enthralling story that its thrilling as well. The only issue that I had with this book was the Scottish accent it was terrible 😊 – I am Scottish so I should know. Apart from this, the book was a thrilling listen. I will be looking forward to the next book in this series!

Thrilling and exiting listen
