I always think I won't like another couple as much as the one I've read previously, and I am always proven wrong. Every couples story is unique, and amazing. How they meet, and eventually hook up. I love Bill and Guss and the twins. This was another fantastic story, and I am looking forward to more.

I was really looking forward to this story after reading little excerpts of Landros and Clara's characters in Act of Brotherhood and Wrecked Intel by Mandy M. Roth. it definitely didn't disappoint! I loved the romance storyline as well the the overall theme as this is part of the Crimson Ops/PSI Ops series. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Landros and Clara!

As this book is part of the bigger I-Ops world, we get more backstory on characters as well as the overarching plot! It's great to know story is developing as the series grows and how this will tie-up in the end! It's a wonderful world Mandy has created and each story always keeps me on my toes for the next instalment!

Can't wait for the next book in the series!

Landros is a vampire operative, who is used to perpetuating the lies that surround him, but when his past surfaces he finds that the person he must forgive also means himself, so that he may too have a HEA.
Really enjoyed this book ad glad that it can be read as a stand-alone tale. It's good to have a book that is part of a series but you don’t have to read everyone just to follow the plot.
