There is no communication. They're mad at each other and instead of communicating, they fuck each other's brains out. Then things go well between the FMC and MMC for half a chapter, only to be back to square one for the second part of the chapter. This is how it goes for three books and at the end of book three, they suddenly live happily ever after with still nothing resolved. I really regret spending a credit on this.
