About this listen

In this bundle, we take a deep dive into the lives, successes, and failures of some of the most successful (and wealthiest) men on the planet.

What makes them different? What is it about them that makes them super-achievers? You will discover all of that and more.

What is it about Jeff Bezos that allows him to change the way the entire world shops (and become the richest man on the planet in doing so)?

How does Elon Musk go from working in the fires of a toxic furnace to leading the charge in space travel?

How did Steve Jobs create and lead what would later become the world’s first trillion company?

Did Bill Gates (the richest man on Earth for nearly two decades) really steal technology?

How did Jack Ma, who was denied a job working at Kentucky Fried Chicken (and was the only one of 24 applicants not to get hired), start the company that would later set the record for the largest IPO in the history of the New York Stock Exchange?

We will even show you how Richard Branson might not be as rich as people think. He is, in fact, richer.

All of these questions are answered. All of these myths are debunked, or truths verified.

Don’t wait any longer! Download now to discover more about some of the most successful businessmen and world-changing innovators this world has ever seen.

Being someone who has been involved with computers and the internet for more than 25 years and a Apple fangirl for the past 6 years, I considered this a must listen . This is not only the biography of a brilliant, driven, colorful man, it chronicles the history of personal computing and the major players that shaped our experiences today into tomorrow.

Fascinating man, fascinating history

Enjoyed the book tremendously even though my knowledge of this industry is minimal. The book is very easy to listen and the pace is just right. I am lost in admiration for Gates although his life seemed to be very unbalanced. I would have liked more personal touches about the man. We know about his temper tantrums, enormous drive, curiosity, courage and touches of kindness, yet the reason for his driving force is unclear. Was it money, poor self esteem, recognition by his fellow men or what?

an insightful and thought provoking production. digestable at double speed. worth the listen to muse on concept alone. beyond that it might serve as a good yardstick to realise that the drive towards infinity is unique relative to the finite construct although that does not necessarily make it superior nor exclusive of those constraints. although, that anything is possible and that achievement is an amazing human accomplishment is a clear takeaway. and that problems, issues, hardships, setbacks, quirks and idiosyncracies can be turned to success that are all the time potentially consistent with both self interest, wider empathy based goals and institutional strength - all within the modern space where corporate power meets market force meets internet based tech meets the blue dot we live on and the lives we all lead.

drive and determination

Loved it but I'll like to question his categorization of Google as a finite player and Steve Jobs as an infinite player. First, you can't compare a company with an individual. Would you say Larry Page and Sergey Brin are finite players? I can sense the apple sentiment in there. Good book nonetheless.

A great author to capture a complex mind. This was an enjoyable listen about the complex individual who has added great complexity to the IT scene. It was a hard book to put down and kept me wanting to learn more.
