I enjoyed this book particularly for the information given about potential problems to consider as well as using your home as a rental property to generate additional income. This book is insightful and certainly a "go-to" when looking to buy a seaside cottage.

In a post covid world I now work from home and we've been told this is now permanent. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people in a similar situation and with my kids grown up now may be the time to relocate. I've been specifically looking to move to the south coast but while keeping the prices low and fishing villages with low industry seem to be the perfect match of low cost in a beautiful area. This book was very useful in laying out what I'd need to consider in taking on such a big move. The book even goes down to the detail of how to get on with the locals, laws and regulations, what to look for and there's a nice bonus chapter too! If you're looking to get your perfect cottage in the U.K then I'd highly recommend you listen to this great audiobook first!

First things first, don't let the length of the book fool you... I didn't expect to get so much value in just under 40mins! It's straight to the point, no fluff, all value. This has been eye-opening and I can now see how attainable it is to have my own fisherman's cottage all thanks to this book.
