Caged Royal by Lily Wildhart is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Heather Firth, Michael Joss, David Black, Gideon Frost, and Gregory Salinas. This is the third book in The Knights Of Echoes Cove series.

I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed getting Octavia, Finley, Easton, Maverick, and Lincoln's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The cliffhanger left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the final book in the series Forever Royal.

Heather, Michael, David, Gideon, and Gregory did a great job on the narration. They all really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, bully romances, or romantic suspense.

I really want to hurt this author! Why? Why would you do that to us?!? This series is amazing but they really need to end better than that. I’m not sure I can wait for the next audiobook to release. A fantastic cast for a brilliant book.

Wow - this is a rollercoaster! It's book three and there is still so much happening; secrets are being uncovered left, right and centre. My heart is breaking for Linc at the moment; he is really between a rock and a hard place and after finally getting on the same page with Vee, Harrison rears his ugly head. East and Finn felt a little absent in this one (I can't believe they went away without East but I liked how he was given time to recover and it wasn't forgotten about three chapters in) but one of my definite highlights was Mav and Indi's bickering. I love how much Indi has grown since book one and come out of her shell.

Each one of these talented narrators gets to show a different side to their characters as the guys deal with trying to track down Vee whilst Vee has to cope with so much betrayal. Although there are still some moments of humour, this definitely felt this most emotional and Heather Firth in particular goes through the wringer with Vee; she's such a tough character but still has a heart and her grief journey has been so raw. I read this a couple of years ago but listening to the whole section with the stalker gave me chills; this is a great example of how the right narrators can just elevate things to the next level.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR
