I really enjoyed this. I would have loved to have heard from Dane’s point of view as well as Laia’s. It had great FMC (not whiny) and MMC (morally grey). Loved their banter and relationship (enemies to lovers). Good spice. Quite lighthearted to what I usually read but I like that now and again. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will look at the author’s other work.

This was such a delight! Leah was a wonderful FMC. She's strong without too much snark and kind without being a pushover. Dain is a big growly cinnamon roll who just wants to be loved. Any the YEARNING. Swoon.

Quite interesting story, well written. A lot of similar stories have this annoying mfc who’s constantly complaining and “suffering” in hate for what mmc done - but this book seems well-balanced, I don’t feel like overwhelm with mfc issues lol
