Now a major BBC drama: The Strike series
When a mysterious package is delivered to Robin Ellacott, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman's severed leg.
Her boss, private detective Cormoran Strike, is less surprised but no less alarmed. There are four people from his past who he thinks could be responsible - and Strike knows that any one of them is capable of sustained and unspeakable brutality.
With the police focusing on the one suspect Strike is increasingly sure is not the perpetrator, he and Robin take matters into their own hands, and delve into the dark and twisted worlds of the other three men. But as more horrendous acts occur, time is running out for the two of them...
A fiendishly clever mystery with unexpected twists around every corner, Career of Evil is also a gripping story of a man and a woman at a crossroads in their personal and professional lives. You will not be able to put this book down.
*** The latest book in the thrilling Strike series, LETHAL WHITE is out now! ***

What did you like most about Career of Evil?
I really enjoyed the narrative and humour. How ever I love the depth to the characters Robin and Strike. Especially as they seem like real people with real struggles. A wonderful fast paced storyline, with all the intrigue that keeps you guessing and guessing right up until the end. I loved every minute of it, and can't believe the book finishes how it does. I can't wait for the next one, and was some what sad when I finished it. Robert Galbraith books are a favourite read, and yes reread, all of them. I highly recommend them.A wonderful story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend the book, but would suggest that the books are read in order so that the characters can be fully appreciated. Whilst it is a slow start the detail and characterisation are excellent.Who was your favorite character and why?
Robin has developed in each book and really comes to the forefront in this book. The chemistry between her and Strike continues to develop in a tantalising wayWhat does Robert Glenister bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I think Robert brings Strike to life and I now visualise him as Strike. Some of his regional accents are not quite right but not to the detriment of the book.If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I believe these three books would make an excellent mini-series in the tvAny additional comments?
Great readA Slow Start but Great Finish
