About this listen

Love is in the air, but where is Cupid aiming his darts?

Spirited and beautiful, Antonia Thornton is a baroness in her own right. Her companion and best friend is Judith Winslow, a quiet intellectual with a love of natural philosophy. Then, Antonia's childhood friend, Adam Yorke, returns from India and brings his friend, the outrageously handsome Simon, Lord Launceston. They all like each other, love is in the air—and they are all too noble for their own good! Can four confused young people sort themselves out properly before it's too late?

One of my favourite in a long time such a good storyline so different and perfect. This is the book to get if you like a good regency romance.

Lovely storyline

This was an enjoyable story although so frustrating that I actually went to the end half way through to check who ended up with who before I went back to finish it.
At times I found it difficult to like Antonia who seemed to think that she could have who and what she she wanted but all ended well. Excellent narration.

On what a tangled web we weave

As charming the story starts …. It turns into a most ridiculous entanglement of „even more ridiculous“ plot - it is actually rather boring.

This is definitely NOT one of the best books by this author, who I am usually very fond of ….

The narrator did a great job as usual…

Far fetched …
