This is a short novel about a troubled, retired police officer struggling with PTSD.
Detective Saverio has been living off the grid in Upstate New York since he retired, trying to forget the travesties of his military and police careers.

As a well-known tracker and outdoorsman and respected detective, he is asked to come out of hiding to consult on the death of a young woman. Detective Saverio struggles with his own insecurities and the web of lies and suspicion of a small town rooted deep in the Adirondack Mountains.
