After having three children in two and a half years I never seem to have the free time to read books or stay conscious long enough to read more than a few pages! So the fact I have been able to literally digest this book in a week speaks volumes for how good it is! It has me immediately googling Catherine Steadman to find more reading material! Excellent read, very clever and quite an unexpected ending!

Wow... just wow!

I think the writer being the narrator really helps the story come to life in the way she intended. how it was written made you feel like you were there in person and got involved in the lives of these people. really interesting story and not necessarily the ending you expect when you start listening. very well done!

LOVED THIS!

First of all I normally avoid - with a few exceptions - a book narrated by its author. Catherine Steadman was amazingly good at telling the tale. The tale itself was thrilling and obviously well researched. The start was captivating and forced one to just keep reading - which I did avidly, Write another soon, please

Heartstoppingly good
