I didn’t enjoy this story as much as I thought I would’ve. Considering the length of the book I was expecting a more elaborate and intricate plot… for me it’s only ok.

I loved this book. The characters were perfectly balanced...most memorable for me was The Great War. chapters...anticipating who was going to return and who may not. i thought the narrator was spectacular. I must read the sequel asap....Just hooked on period dramas with a bit of history thrown in....So enjoyable. cannot go far wrong with BTB....
