Excellently narrated by Bridget Thomas, you are instantly drawn into the story of young Eliza, a maid at Norlane Hall. The atmosphere is subtly layered as it envelops you, something only a great narrator can do. I usually listen whilst I'm doing other things, but with Child of Fear & Fire, I found myself stopping just to listen; it's so compelling.

This isn't my usual genre at all (love a dark fairytale, but gothic horror isn't my thing), but if you love the combination of these two or just gothic horror, you'll find a lot to love in these pages! The narration was beautifully done, too.
