The author introduces phrases in a very accessible way, linking vocabulary to words already known or the English concept. There is a lot of needed repetition and phrases and words are gradually built on. Brilliant course!

A great way of starting to learn Chinese that I enjoy listening to and saying out loud while going to work in the car. a different way of learning the four tones which I found interesting giving them different names. I tried to use this with also trying to write and remember Chinese writing which I found too hard to remember at this stage. so I am just going to listen to this audio for now and then start to write down the words as my memory and recollection gets better.
