For a free book this was a brilliant find. The story romped along and the characters were believable. The narrator was brilliant too. His lively reading of the text really bought it to life & seemed to be enjoying the story himself! I cant wait for book 2!

The first book in a long series and it gets off to a fairly solid start. A well paced story but I felt that the romance was a wee bit forced, people don't fall in love that quick, especially when the 'hero' has shown himself to be uncomfortable with commitment earlier in the book. The narration was up and down, the main character came across a Nathan Drake type (game geeks will get me) but his female accents ranged from Janice from Friends annoying to off putting.

Good for a freebie though, I'll certainly give the next one a listen.
