Can three sisters stitch their family back together?

Loretta has run the little sewing shop in Butterbury for years, while bringing up her three headstrong daughters. Overall a nice story, but quite repetitive in the narrative, and slow to reveal the obvious plot twist. A pleasant listen none the less.

A ‘real’ family full of emotions and old hurts who come together and begin healing through crafting. A bit slow. Half way through I almost gave up because of that but I’m glad I didn’t. Well narrated, I grew to like all the different characters in the family.
Personally I would have preferred more about the sewing shop and maybe other village characters in there too but it’s a good story for all that.

I loved the narration and the style of the book, whereby each character had a chapter. The story was warming and lovely without being too sickly. A real winter winner
