Summary

The nightmare continues for the new vampire's assistant in the second installment of the New York Times best-selling Saga of Darren Shan.

Darren Shan was just an ordinary schoolboy until his visit to the Cirque du Freak. Now, as he struggles with his new life as a vampire's assistant, he tries desperately to resist the one temptation that sickens him, the one thing that can keep him alive. But destiny is calling. The Wolf Man is waiting.

Brilliantly read. Great story. My daughter and I enjoyed listening to it together. (Some slightly gruesome moments so best maybe for a 10 year plus?) So enjoyable! Ace voice ✅

Loved it!

Great characters, enticing story and moorish.
Brilliant writing style that gives a real affinity for the characters.

Enjoyable second installment.

Great narrator, but too many Americanisms for a British accent.

Not sure where the story is based, maybe that's on purpose as locations aren't named. But an Irish writer including words like soccer, read in a British accent doesn't feel right

Would be better if they matched, some words are jarring coming from Ralph.

Great narration
