About this listen
I made a deal with a demon so I could be free. Boy, did that blow up in my face.
Everything is falling apart just as I thought it was coming together. The Mercer twins say I’m their mate. I believe them, even if I can’t let them claim me. No matter how badly my soul yearns to be theirs.
Pan laid out his terms and I ignored them once already. Now, Ben is in jail for a murder he didn’t commit, Asher’s curse is spreading, and Remi and I are no closer to finding a way to free either of them. If that wasn’t tricky enough, the Duke of Tears has found me. And Gavin has made it clear he has no intention of leaving without his wife. But I refuse to leave them.
My flirtatious wolf. My haunted hacker. My broken alpha.
And I already know my mischievous demon will never let me go. The mark he seared into my flesh is proof of that. If I’ve learned anything from my Blackthorne ancestors, it's how to protect my mate. So while Pan thinks he’s got me over a barrel, I’m the one using him to my advantage.
After all, there’s more than one way to deal with a demon.
WARNING: The Mate Games: Pestilence is a spicy why choose series that is sure to set your…heart…on fire. If you’re not a fan of grumpy dukes with a penchant for pain, purple demons with fancy body parts, nosy hackers with boundary issues, angsty wolf shifters who like to share, sword crossing, and plenty of group activities, this one’s not for you. But if it is…welcome back to The Mate Games, we’ve been waiting for you.

🎧📚🎧 Jacob Morgan, James Joseph, John Hartley, Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter’s outstanding performance of bringing these characters and story to life continues. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying and I love how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. Stella Hunter continues to nail is as Roslyn, British accent and all, John Hartley shows us another side of Gavin besides his alpha side, Teddy Hamilton as Asher is a winner, as is Jacob Morgan’s Remi and J.F. Harding’s Ben. James Joseph’s Pan is just as chilling and hot as ever. They are all just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters too. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to, and their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
A Wild & Steamy Ride! Terrific Story & Narration🎧

Lilath is more involved in this book, even Sunday, Noah and Kingston are in the book which was nice to see.
Otherwise Gavin has been accepted and Rosie bonds him as her mate. The ending shocked me, so straight onto the next book.
As always the narration was fantastic!
Great series

Is it serious? Absolutely not. Is it bingeable, addictive, and stupidly fun? One hundred percent, yes. The nods to modern-day life had me laughing, the characters are ridiculous but loveable, and the spice is… well, let’s just say the narrators deserve awards because they bring those parts to life in the best possible way. Honestly, I don’t think I would have enjoyed it half as much without their performances.
Do I know I’m spoiling parts of the first series by starting this series? Yep. Do I care? Not even a little. I’m here for the vibes, the banter, the plot-that’s-there-if-you-squint, and the pure joy of watching shifters, vamps, and demons fight (and flirt) their way into a messy, magical “why choose” world.
This series is absolute chaos in the best way, and I’m so mad I didn’t find it sooner.
This series is everything I didn't know I needed
