I love MCs books and there is no other narrator that is a brilliant as Annie Aldington, superb!
I must admit I did find it a bit samey and it didn't hold my attention completely until half way, maybe book 2 onwards. From then on it got going and I kept wanting to listen to it but at the same time didn't want it to end!
A few eye opening bits I had guessed earlier but that didn't stop it being a great read.
The ending is so touching and I never thought I would cry at a Martina Cole book but cry I did!
Definitely a great book. I knocked a point off of being a five star purely because of the first half.

I’ve listened to a lot of Martina’s books and I did find this a slow start but it’s a long one so I guess it can afford to start slowly. It is very detailed with the expected twists and turns. Then end was very emotional and wonderfully read as usual by Annie!
