You don’t know whether to love, hate, fear the morally gray hero. I lived through all the emotions and it was so delicious. The heroine is someone who understands hardship and heartbreak but still remained good hearted. Not weak, just good hearted.
The hero is deeply obsessed, to the point his thoughts are reckless, he is constantly fighting his instinct to cause mayhem, to protect the heroine from harm, big or small. He is a normally cold hearted man, so is great to see him deal with all the emotions the heroine inspires in him, not understanding what they are.
