this is a brilliant series of books. I especially like the way the stories of the characters continue. with each book I can't wait to move on to the next to see what happens.

Good to have over view of crimes some signs of minor errors which prevented the story being shorter

I love a cosy murders and this books subject matter was a little on the edge for me. It was handled with respect and care.
The story is excellent and the Narrator, one of the best.
I rarely leave a review but this book genuinely deserves one. Highly recommend.

I've a few issues with this series of listens . There are so many characters the main tale can be hard to follow . AND the order of listens is not possible to figure because they don't have any order to them so you may be listening to the first last and vice versa.

I had never heard of this character before but he's very comfortable and gives me a sense of nostalgia somehow. I really enjoyed the story and I'll be listening to more! A less alcoholic Morse with better position of authority, and a lot less snark! Yes, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for Coffin!
