About this listen

Decker Davis struggles as the "odd kid out", but he is far from odd. He is a young boy growing up in a small town in Mississippi in 1968. Through his inability to see skin color, he shows a racially charged society of 1968 what normal really is. With the help of his family and friends, he overcomes learning disabilities with the true charm of a very gifted 11-year-old boy. Unfortunately for everyone in this sleepy, small Southern town, evil exists and it will cross everyone's path, including Decker's.
