This book had so many emotions that threw me all over the place. Adriana’s pain was deeply felt with Lacy’s performance and the grief that she endures was heart wrenching. Blake clearly did what he had to in order to protect who he lives most. Kathy Coopmans writes emotional books that tear apart souls but she puts it back together healed. So not the typical second chance love story.

Logan and Lacy do a fabulous job with this audiobook.

I went into this book completely blind and I wish I had read the blurb first , I loved the story but it was a little confusing until I read the blurb , then It made a lot more sense , it was a great story , it was heartbreaking and I felt so bad for Adriana but she was a strong woman who overcame such heartbreak , and the love story that followed was beautiful .
the narrators were brilliant and made you really feel the emotions and like you knew the characters .

This was hard to listen to at the beginning as poor Adriana had suffered so many losses, more tragedy in her life than I think I've read in any other book. However, this made Blake's redemption that much sweeter, I loved it when he came into the story and back into her life. Blake and Adriana made me cry, sigh and a little 'hot and sweaty'! Lacy did a great job narrating with so much of the feeling and heartbreak coming through in her voice, Logan took me a while to feel him as Blake but after settling in to his voice I liked his narration. If you love second chance romance with a lot of back story and a twist then you will love this. #AudiobookObsession

This was such a beautifully emotional romance. When I read this book it broke me but that was nothing compare to listening to it as the narrators brought all the emotions to life and broke my heart even more.

Told in dual POV and with two brilliant narrators. Kathy Coopmans has done an amazing job with this story. she has brought us two beautiful broken characters that have so much love for each other its beautiful and painful to watch considering what happens to them. Sometimes love isn't enough but it can also heal and rebuild if you get the chance <3
