Cringy, cliched writing, unrealistic dialogue between characters. Poor narration that set my teeth on edge, like she was smiling the whole time. Quite an enjoyable story overall despite all that

a relaxing listening book, well written and performed. I will be looking for the next in the series. it is a typical modern romance a gently story with a happy warm ending.

This reminded me of a Hallmark film, where the woman comes back from the big city to her little village hometown, the builder doing renovations on her home is her childhood sweetheart etc

The narrator was very positive and peppy even when the situation caused for a sombre narrative. I would not spend a credit on this but I would recommend this listen as it's FREE through the Plus Catalogue included membership 🌠
